Ophelia is usually a lady, her voice soothing to the ears. Although from a social elite family, Ophelia doesn't like going to those social gatherings with her family, unless she must. She'd do anything to please her beloved parents, this being her weak spot sometimes.
At a social gathering, she would often stay in the corner with her brother & sister, hang around with some friends or wandering off alone to enjoy the view of the venue.
Social was not her forte despite her father & mother being social elites. She expresses her emotions better in words, thus her cutie mark.
Ophelia loves her family & close friends dearly, she would always figure out the cause of a problem & avoid jumping to conclusions. She is usually level-headed but can be over-protective of her loved ones.

Her cutie mark is a white soft feather quill wrapped around by a crown of laurels. The quill symbolizes her talent for writing, her love for literature ; whilst the laurel wreath symbolizes her regal.

Mainly literature, all sorts. Classic poetry, tales, stories.. She hopes to become a wonderful Writer someday. She loves everything that involves writing & editing. She'd never miss an opportunity to visit a newly open Library or Bookstore.
But of course being in the Vio family, everyone of the siblings are to take up a profession in an instrument. Which in this case, Ophelia has chosen the Violin. The classical, great tradition of the Vio family. Ophelia & Vion have both shown great interest & talent for the Violin, thus it is a hard decision for the elder of the Vios to select the one who will carry down the great Violin that has been passed down for over 9 generations, Viothiera - which was named after the first Lady of the Vio family, the legendary violinist all over Equestria.
Ophelia sometimes would interfere with some Politics too, she'd go over to her Father or Mother's room, bringing in some tea for them. Her parents would end up discussing with her of the on-goings of Maredrid's current events. Sometimes Ophelia would come up with useful suggestions, being an outsider, you tend to see things more clearly than those involved.
Besides her lessons { Violin, Language, General .. } Ophelia spends most of her time reading or having fun with her darling pet - Tavi { Tavichere }, a little mongrel puppy. One of the rare occasions where Ophelia would stand up to her parents' denial, she insisted on taking home the poor thing she found in the street corners of Maredrid's darker sides. She took her home, bathed her, fed her, groomed her & got her only the best.
Sometimes Vion & Paris would come over to Ophelia's room & pester her to go out & get some fresh air, even if it's just an afternoon tea in the Garden. Ophelia would then gladly accept & spend some quality time with her siblings.
Ophelia shows lesser interest in Fashion ; her Aunt Violise & her sister Paris would help her solve her fashion problems though. Once or twice a week, the ladies would spent the whole day at the famous shopping street in Maredrid.
Ophelia's weaknesses aren't so few. When she's working on something, she would over indulge herself in it & sometimes pay no attention to her surroundings at all. Ophelia is also obedient & responsible - sometimes she'd give in too much to her parents. Ophelia isn't the best when it comes to socializing, resulting in her lack of close friends.
Origin :
A classic Unicorn born in Maredrid { Idea from Madrid. Thought up town :3 } from a typical high class family. Her father, the Ambassador from Canterlot ; her mother, the Duchess of Maredrid. Ophelia was born in Maredrid when her parents met each other when her father came to Maredrid. Despite their blooming status, the family was loving, kind & generous towards every pony. An additional info would be that Ophelia's father is "married" into Ophelia's mother's family, taking up the last name Vio from her mother side.

Vion Vio { Younger Brother } - soon to be Viscount Vion dé Vio -
Vion, an Earth pony, surprisingly gained neither the Unicorn nor Pegasus gene from his parents, however, he got his share of looks & intelligence - helping him to achieve more than those colts of his age. Ophelia simply adores him & will often spend their time together reading their favourite historical books in their private library.
